Congratulations to Karla Kinkade, Ph.D., assistant professor of Biology and
Public Health, and Kristy Wilson, Ph.D., associate professor of Biology on their published work in the journal Trends in Teaching Experimentation in the Life Sciences May 2022.
Their discoveries found in “Research Across the Curriculum Rubric (RAC-R): An Adaptable Rubric for the Evaluation of Journal Article Style Lad Reports” revealed that students need to be challenged by using different styles of writing. Both doctors challenged the idea of using different mediums and finding writing styles that work for students.
