Many kudos to Marian University Associate Professor Tafline Arbor, Ph.D., on her published work in “Anatomy, Abdomen and Pelvis, Internal Iliac Arteries”. Dr. Tafline serves in the division of Biomedical Sciences at Marian University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Her work further explains what the internal iliac artery (IIA) is and its role in the body. She goes on to further develop the connections it has with other parts of the body and how they differ within the male and female. Her work was published in the e-book StatPearls in collaboration with colleagues at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Well done and congratulations again, Dr. Arbor!
