Joseph Gamache, Ph.D., assistant professor of philosophy, published “Von Hildebrand, Scheler, and Marcel on Interpreting One’s Friends” in the journal, American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly.
In this publication Dr. Gamache looks into how the beliefs of friend relationships influence what they know as truth and charity. In the paper he says, “I assume that there is some such obligation of interpretive charity, and I investigate whether it may be reconciled with the truth-norm.”
