Congratulations to Marian University Professor Julia Hum, Ph.D., assistant professor and director of biomedical sciences and Jonathan Lowery, Ph.D., associate professor of physiology and assistant provost for research and scholarship on their article “Examining the Role of Hypothalamus-Derived Neuromedin-U (NMU) in Bone Remodeling of Rats.” The article appears in the journal Life.
The Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM) Faculty Research Development Program funded the project, along with the National Institutes of Health to understand the affect NMU has on bone regulation.
Congratulations Dr. Julia Hum and Dr. Jonathan Lowery on the discovery!
