Congratulations to two Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine 
alumni who recently published a study aimed at assessing body mass index (BMI) change in children six months after the pandemic.
Rayanne Pancoast DO '23 and Courtney Yarber's DO '23 recent publication appears in the Journal of Clinical Pediatrics and can be found here. Both doctors collaborated with Dr. Todd Foster of Ascension Health. The study also follows changes in a child's BMI 30 months after the pandemic start to identify demographic factors associated with the changes.
