Congratulations to three Marian University alumnae on being awarded within their field of work. In November, the Indiana Certified Public Accountant Society (INCPAS) honored 28 award finalists and winners, of which eleven percent of the finalists and fourteen percent of the winners were Marian graduates. Marian University accounting department alumnae Mary Riggle '80, Donna Niesen '95, and Maddie Kurcz '19, Marian's assistant professor of accounting, were all honored as Outstanding Certified Public Accountants (CPA).
In announcing the awards, INCPAS President and CEO Courtney Kincaid, CAE, said, "The achievements of those we honored are genuinely inspiring, showcasing an incredible capacity for accomplishment. Their success lights up the future, making the entire night exceptionally rewarding and uplifting."

Donna Niesen, CPA, KSM, won the Advocacy Award
Maddie Kurcz, CPA, was named a finalist for the Emerging Leaders Award
