Marian University is proud to announce Marlon Llewellyn, MBA, Director of Recruitment and Strategic Partnerships for the Fred S. Klipsch Educators College, has been chosen to join the esteemed Urban Leaders Fellowship (ULF) for the upcoming summer 2024. This highly competitive fellowship selects only a handful of exceptional individuals from thousands of applicants, underscoring Marlon's leadership and commitment to community impact.
The Urban Leaders Fellowship offers an intensive, seven-week experience in eight premier cities nationwide. Working alongside other ambitious, mission-driven individuals, Marlon will be empowered to bring about real and lasting change in our community. Fellows partner with elected officials on critical policy projects, aiming to improve their cities and make their visions a reality.
In addition to his professional achievements, Marlon, an aspiring Jamaican chef, was selected to host his first pop-up dinner event as part of the Fishers Test Kitchen Local Chef Series in Fishers, Indiana. The series allows local chefs to showcase their talent and creative concepts through intimate dinners with the community.
The restaurant event, Scotchy Jamaican Grill, took place earlier June 2024. Attendees enjoyed an authentic, full Jamaican-inspired dinner crafted by Llewellyn. Let's congratulated our multi-talented Shining Star Marlon Llewellyn!
