Marian University Climbs in U.S. News & World Report Social Mobility Rankings to #3

Awarded Distinction in Preparing Physicians to Serve in Rural Areas

Indianapolis, IN – October 2024 – Marian University is proud to announce a significant leap in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 rankings. Marian is now ranked #3 in Indiana for Social Mobility and the university has ascended an impressive 165 spots nationally, from #318 in 2023 to #153 in 2024 out of 436 national universities.  Marian University awards nearly $46 million annually in scholarships, with 99% of first-year students receiving scholarships or grants. This achievement highlights Marian’s dedication to academic excellence, student success, and expanding national reputation.
