Two Marian University School of Business seniors, Devin Sanders, '25 and Zivan Mynhardt, '25, have been named among the Poets&Quants for Undergrads "Best and Brightest" business majors nationwide. Now in its 10th year, this prestigious recognition honors 100 senior business majors who have significantly impacted their programs and exemplified excellence in their cohorts.

Sanders, a student-athlete and consistent Dean’s List honoree, credits his professors for his growth. “Professor Robert Kubacki and Professor Lori Rumreich have been pivotal to my growth. As sales team coaches, they recognized my potential and helped cultivate my skills, shaping my personal and professional development,” Sanders said.

Mynhardt, from Cape Town, South Africa, is a triple major and student-athlete also on the Dean’s List. He finds joy in turning problems into opportunities, drawing inspiration from his father. “I watched my dad pour relentless effort into everything he did: long hours, no shortcuts, always pushing forward. That example wasn’t just inspiring; it essentially became my blueprint,” Mynhardt shared. “He instilled a belief that hard work and resilience can overcome any obstacle.”

According to Poets&Quants, the 2025 Best & Brightest Business Majors share a passion and purpose that drives them to question, listen, learn, and grow. These go-getters possess an infectious, can-do spirit, whether commanding a room or quietly uniting teams. They bring calmness and confidence amid setbacks, consistently delivering excellence.

Since 2021, seven Marian University students have earned this distinguished honor.
