Marian University President Daniel J. Elsener has been honored as the NextEra Energy Resources Dynamic Leader of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented during the Chamber’s 36th Annual Awards Dinner on November 5 at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.

The Dynamic Leader of the Year award celebrates individuals whose leadership extends beyond their organizations to advance innovation, collaboration, and statewide prosperity. Recipients embody the Indiana Chamber’s vision for a thriving economy and vibrant communities.
Under President Elsener’s leadership, Marian University has grown into one of Indiana’s most dynamic and mission-driven private institutions. The university has expanded access to high-quality education, strengthened partnerships with business and community leaders, and prepared graduates to serve and lead with purpose across Indiana and beyond.
