Admission Requirements

  • Provide all official high school and college transcripts (to be considered official, transcripts need to be sent directly from the institution to Marian at onlineadmissions@marian.edu);
  • Meet with the MAP admission advisor for an admission counseling appointment; and
  • Have one of the following: 
    • a GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale from the last college attended
    • a high school GPA of 2.30 on a 4.00 scale
    • a GED score of 51 or above, or a passing TASC score.

  • Have an associate degree or diploma with a major in nursing from an ACEN accredited program (non-ACEN accredited program will be reviewed.)
  • Have an active RN license; 
  • Have a GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale from a prior nursing program; and 
  • Provide all official college transcripts.

RN to BSN Program

  • Students earning a Marian University nursing degree should talk with their advisor prior to registering for MAP classes. 
  • Those earning a degree with another institution should call (317) 955-6773 for more information.

Online Nursing Prerequisites

Its never too late graduateMarian’s Adult Program (MAP) classes are offered year-round. Once you are admitted, you can begin your coursework immediately. Not all classes are offered each term, so be sure to talk with your advisor to set your schedule.
