Our Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program is tailored to fit the lifestyle and needs of a working professional. Offered completely online, our classes allow you to balance schoolwork with your career and family commitments. You will complete one course at a time in this program. Each course will take 5 or 8 weeks to complete, so you can tailor your classes to your personal life.

Online Logistics and Supply Chain Management Curriculum

Logistics Management: This covers the movement and storage of goods and involves activities like transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Supply Chain Management: This focuses on the strategic coordination of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, production, and logistics to ensure that products are delivered to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. Procurement and Purchasing: This involves sourcing and acquiring the raw materials, components, and services needed for production. Inventory Management: This entails optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts. Transportation Management: This includes selecting the best modes of transportation (such as trucking, shipping, air freight, or rail) and managing the transportation network to ensure timely delivery. Warehousing and Distribution: This involves managing storage facilities and distribution centers to ensure that products are stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently. Supply Chain Strategy: This covers the development of strategies to optimize the supply chain, including supplier selection, risk management, and sustainability initiatives. Information Systems: This involves the use of technology and software systems for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and optimizing supply chain operations.

How to Apply: 

Prepare your application materials needed: 

  • Resume indicating three years of full-time work experience 
  • Provide all official high school and college transcripts (to be considered official, transcripts need to be sent directly from the institution to Marian University at onlineadmissions@marian.edu) 

Have one of the following:  

  • GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale from the last college attended 
  • high school GPA of 2.30 on a 4.00 scale 
  • GED score of 51 or above, or a passing TASC score
