The Fortune Scholars Program at Marian University, part of the Penny and Jock Fortune Institute for Civic Leadership and Capitalism, is designed to help you become a changemaker in your community and beyond.
The Fortune Scholars Program empowers young leaders like you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to build a thriving society. Through civic engagement, hands-on leadership, and entrepreneurial opportunities, you’ll gain the tools to create meaningful change.
Once admitted, you’ll dive into a curriculum focused on moral capitalism, adaptive leadership, and business ethics. You’ll also complete the Civic Leadership and Capitalism Minor*, participate in learning communities, and gain practical training through internships and project-based experiences with government, nonprofit, and community organizations.
*Minor pending approval from the Academic Policies Committee.
