Certification Opportunities

Depending on your personal and professional goals, our expert faculty will help you prepare for a range of professional certifications. These are just a few:

Sport specific:

  • USA football: For those going into the coaching of football
  • USA track and field: For those going into the coaching of track and field

Activity specific:

  • Crossfit level I coach: For those who want to know how to coach all the movements involved in crossfit training
  • USA weightlifting: For those who want to incorporate the techniques of Olympic-style weightlifting into their coaching

Strength and conditioning:

  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA): One of the most commonly desired certifications
  • Starting Strength Coach (SSC): This certification focuses solely on whole-body strength
  • Personal trainer: There are several nationally-recognized certifications available

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM):

Among the most common are:

  • Certified exercise physiologist
  • Certified clinical exercise physiologist
  • Registered clinical exercise physiologist
