All ceremonies will have live streaming by Markeys. Overflow seating for ceremonies in Alumni Hall.
Graduating students are invited to apply to serve as the "student speaker" for the Marian University Commencement Ceremonies. The student speaker will give a 3–5-minute speech representing their fellow graduates in front of an audience of graduating students, their guests, and university officials.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of faculty and staff. Note: An audition may be required as part of the selection process.

The individual chosen for this honor will be a student in good academic and social standing and one that has demonstrated a history of substantial leadership and service experience. The deadline to submit an application is Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 11:59pm.
Please know that the students selected for this opportunity will be asked to 1) speak on behalf of all graduating students and not only those in their specific academic program and 2) work with staff in the Marketing and Communications office for editing support and professional guidance.
