Investment Program: The Bisigne Acuere Society

Are you interested in becoming an Investments Professional or learning more about equity trading? Our investments program is managed by Austin Crites, Past President of the CFA Society of Indianapolis and current Chief Investment Officer of Aurora Financial Strategies.

The Bisigne Acuere Society is a distinctive investments program which:

  • Educates you in the art of researching security selection and portfolio management;
  • Allows you to present your strategies and fund performance to stakeholders; 
  • Develops your leadership, critical thinking skills, and elevates your career outcomes

Program Overview

Under the guidance of Austin Crites, CFA, students will apply the knowledge provided by financial research in asset pricing, behavioral finance, agency costs, market efficiency and incorporate it into their analysis, portfolio management techniques, and recommendations. The investments program is a three-credit-hour Finance course.
