Mary Jayroe, MSN, RN has been teaching as adjunct faculty for Marian’s traditional on campus, accelerated on campus and accelerated online BSN programs since January 2014 in courses such as: Adult Med/Surg I, Health Assessment & Fundamentals, Immersion and Adult Med/Surg II.
In August 2018, she began as full-time didactic faculty for Adult Med/Surg I/Care of the Adult in the Community Setting. She has also taught Service in Local and Global Communities; Transition to Practice and Immersion. She is currently teaching Adult Med/Surg I and Nursing Leadership. She is Adult Med/Surg I Course Coordinator, MUSNA Faculty Advisor; Curriculum Committee Co-Chair. With MU-COM, she has helped with DO interviews and many IPE simulations. She also serves on a Diversity and Inclusion subcommittee. She has precepted several MSN students and mentors former BSN students.
She is blessed to live in Fishers, IN with her blended family including 4 children and 3 dogs.
