Where will you go?

After a mission trip to Nicaragua for an Alternative Break, Morgan Stricker '18 was inspired to learn more about global healthcare. Between her junior and senior year, Stricker spent her summer interning in Szekesfervar, Hungary, shadowing doctors and learning about patient care and wellness at the global scale.

I learned about socialized medicine, which is different than what we have here, so it was completely different than what I was used to. I got to learn about that while I was abroad, and I got to get that firsthand experience of it, where I wasn’t just learning it in a textbook.
