Hiring a Marian University Intern

Students from some disciplines at Marian University require internships to be processed through Handshake. In order to support your intern in achieving academic credit for his or her work at your organization, please keep the following in mind:

  • The internship must be posted on Handshake registering as an employer. Be sure to mark the position as an internship, not a full-time or part-time position.
  • At the conclusion of the internship, you will be asked to complete a performance evaluation for the student. Please offer quality feedback, both for the student and for The Exchange so we can better support our interns in the future.

If you have any additional questions, please contact The Exchange.
