On Thursday, June 12 through Saturday, June 14, approximately 100 students from 45 high schools across the state will be at Marian College as part ofProject Stepping Stone. Project Stepping Stone is a one-week college preparatory program for Hispanic high school juniors and seniors in Indiana who are interested in college. Over the course of the week, students learn about applying for college and about potential careers in business. They also visit college campuses, including Marian College, IUPUI, Ivy Tech, and Ball State University. At Marian College, the students will attend a career fair with 50 participating companies, and they will practice interviewing skills with one-on-one mock interviews. Students will stay in Doyle Hall, giving them the opportunity to experience college residential life. The week will close with an awards ceremony on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Indianapolis Civic Theatre. The program is sponsored by the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. For more information, contact Sr. Norma Rocklage at 317.955.6102 ornrosf@marian.edu.
