How to Order Transcripts

General Transcript Information

  • An official transcript is a comprehensive record of all courses completed at Marian University (formerly Marian College).
  • Official transcripts are printed on security paper and are embossed with the Marian University seal and signature of the Registrar.
  • Any student whose account is clear of any holds may obtain a copy of his or her official transcript. If you wish to settle your financial obligations prior to requesting an official transcript, contact the Business Office at 317.955.6020.
  • The request may be submitted in person, mail, fax, or using the ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE.
  • Transcripts may be sent via U.S. Mail, fax, picked up in person, or by certified PDF Delivery if requesting through our online ordering system
  • Fees can be paid by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Orders for certified PDF delivery of transcripts must be paid for by credit card through the online ordering system.
  • It is a violation of federal law to release a copy of a transcript without the student's specific authorization.

If submitting a transcript request form, please note:

  • Your transcripts will not be released without your legal signature, so please make certain your request is signed and dated.
  • Refer to delivery and fee options above.
  • If you are unable to open the above link to the transcript request form, you may create your own request, which must include the following information:
      • your name as well as any previous last names
      • your Social Security number
      • your approximate dates of attendance
      • your current address and phone number
      • Indication of whether you are requesting an official, sealed transcript or an unofficial transcript and the number of transcripts that you are requesting
      • the address to which the transcript should be sent
      • your handwritten signature and the date
      • submit cash, check or a money order with your request. If you wish to pay by credit card, please use the online ordering system.
  • Phone requests are not accepted; however, if you have questions, you may call 317.955.6050.
